  6. OVERVIEW

  8. STATsimple was developed to provide an alternative to expensive and often difficult-to-use statistical software. The statistical routines included in this version are:

  10.    => Descriptive Statistics
  11.    => Histogram Plot
  12.    => Student's t-Test
  13.    => Linear Regression

  16. STATSIMPLE WILL RUN ON A SYSTEM 6 MAC-PLUS WITH 500K OF AVAILABLE RAM

  18. STATsimple has special programming routines to accommodate all Macs from the Mac Plus running System 6.0.2. The entire application can fit on a double density floppy disk and requires only 500K of available RAM to run.

  21. THE ACCOMPANYING TUTORIAL WILL GET YOU STARTED IN ABOUT THREE MINUTES

  23. Open the "TUTORIAL" file and follow the instructions. If you're running System 6 without Multi-Finder, open the tutorial file, print it out, then open STATsimple and follow the instructions on your printout.

  26. WHY REGISTER YOUR COPY OF STATSIMPLE?
  27. -----------------------------------------------------------------------
  28. An unregistered copy of STATsimple can only accommodate 4 samples with a maximum of 7 observations per sample. After registration, your copy of STATsimple will accommodate 25 samples with 200 observations per sample.

  35. HOW TO REGISTER YOUR COPY OF STATSIMPLE

  37. 1. Print the "Registration Form" file.
  38. 2. Complete and detach the registration information.
  39. 3. Make out a Cheque or Money Order for the amount of $20 CDN (or $15 US, or equivalent in your currency), payable to NIDUS TECHNOLOGIES.
  40. 4. Send the registration form and cheque or money order to:
